In this exercise, you may be asked the format or you may have to complete the given letter or you may be asked the correct options for certain questions, both for formal as well as informal letters.

Sample Questions

     1. Select a suitable ending for a letter written by a boy to his teacher.

seeking employment :

 Explanation : A letter written by a young person seeking employment is a formal letter. Hence the salutation has to be formal. Only option (3) is correct. Hence option (3) is the answer.
