A Conjunction is a Correlative Conjunction the pair have to be used together in a sentence correlative conjunctions are pairs such as neither...... nor, either ... or, etc. Both parts of the pair have to be used in different places in a sentence to make them work. They work together in a sentence and relate one part of the sentence to another . Some of the correlative conjunction are : neither ... nor, either .....or not only ... but also, both ... and, whether ... or, no sooner ... than. e.g. 1. I can neither play cricket nor badminton. 2. we can go to either Ooty or Kodaikanal for a short holiday. 3. Not only does he play cricket, but he also runs a successful business. |
